Making Of: Friendship Bracelet with Antique Brooch and Beading

New bracelet due to be uploaded on Etsy later this evening as soon as I get the fastening done and let the glue dry, but for now here’s a few preview photos showing the creation process:

Beginning the bracelet- cardboard and a bulldog clip might npt be fancy but they do the job!

Continuing to knot the bracelet

Ends braided and tied off- these will make the adjustable fastening later.

Attaching the antique bug brooch- I decided not to glue it, so it’s still fully functional as a brooch.

Starting to add gold beads

Pretty much finished! You can see the gold bugle beads I used.

The bracelet is now up in my Etsy store! Have a look at the full listing- Gold Beaded Friendship Bracelet with Antique Insect Brooch For anyone interested in making a similar bracelet, I can’t find the original pattern online any more, but there’s a fairly similar one here.
